Nielsen, the company that provides data and insights about consumers to industries in SA, has just published its latest analysis of the media owner market share for 2019.
Great news is that it confirms that Caxton Magazines continues to hold a significant 32% market share in a competitive media landscape.
Commenting on the results, Ronell Buitenbos, national head of sales, reports that overall, advertising spend by clients has shrunk year on year, but, “our advertising sales team remains very positive.
“We have literally started this year on the run,” she says, and emphasises that they are determined to take a bigger slice of the pie in 2020.
